This is one of the pieces from my final 6-week project in Media 2 at NCAD 2008
I am now in my 8th decade. The video shows objects from each decade.
I used two cameras, and layered the resulting footage with decreased opacity in the upper layer. Similarly I reduced the audio in the first voice to give a suggestion of thought preceding speech.
I made the piece using Final Cut Pro, and reduced the size of the video using iMovie

- Elizabeth McGuire Cleary
- Graduated from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, with BA (Hons) in Fine Art Media (2010). There are 8 'Elizabeth Cleary , artists' online, so I'm adding my maiden name 'McGuire'. However this is bulky, so [e=mc] means Elizabeth is what she learned from both birth and marriage families.
